I have never had an e-ink device because only kindles are sold in Brazil and they seem to me like a software jail. Biology papers, which are usually A4 two-column documents, I intend to reflow via Koreader or Neoreader. Besides, Mathematics textbooks could look really well on a 10.3" screen. However, what I primarily read are Mathematics textbooks, novels and philosophy books, which are genres which work very well on a black and white screen (except for the need to highlight). Also, I thought I could read comics again, something I haven't done in many years. I can color-code what different highlights are ("this is a definition", "this is a part I did not understand", "this is a fantastic sentence", etc.) I do this in the Moon Reader + android app. I started tending to the Nova Air C because some of the pdfs I read are biology ones (which have colored drawings) and highlihgting things in different colors is great when reading a book.
